Wooohooo new stuff!

So I went on another one of my adventures yesterday and got so much cute stuff!!!! Of course it will all be up in the store soon so be on the lookout! I've found that the straw bags have been very popular lately I had about 5 straw handbags now I'm down to one so I was happy to run across this fierce blue one yesterday!



I also picked up some funky jackets as well! Of course you all will be the first to see them so I'll be back soon with more!

Time for a new camera

Had yet another little photo session with Sade... but I didn't get to take all the photos I wanted to take because my camera has been acting crazy lately so i'm thinking i'm going to have to get a new one soon... but I just moved so i'm still recovering from those expenses so a new camera is just not in my budget at the moment but hopefully I can see my way veeeeery soon! I am absolutely in loooove with my new found passion for vintage! Who knew fashion could be so exciting!!! Here are a few pics we got to take despite the technical difficulties. When I ran across these earrings, the first thing that crept into my mind was the song "Stormy Weather" by Billie Holiday! These earrings are beautifully crafted and will definitely be the finishing touch to a beautiful dress or even some casual jeans and a nice shirt! Some fashionable diva snagged these from the store a few days ago

Hello traveler!

For a while I would luck up on finding great vintage travelers when I went on my shopping journeys but lately i'd hit a dry spell
:-/ until last week when I found this vintage 1970s Samsonite faux leather bag! I was so excited, you should have seen me lol. I love this bag because it's so study and the color is just unbelievably vibrant! Man they just don't make things like they used to! Now this is quality!

My little nook!

So originally I just got this beautiful button top bench and pillows for pure decoration purposes for my bedroom but the more I looked at it, the more I saw the possibilities! The other day I just picked up my camera and snapped the photo that you see here. I thought it photographed so well and I thought YES I found my little nook!
I am always looking for little places around the house that photograph well and add to my pictures. I just moved less than a month ago and finding places int he new apartment that had good lighting and just looked interesting have been proving difficult so I have resorted to making my own little stages and I think this one will do just fine!

Still so torn!

Uggggh so I haven't posted on this blog forever. ever since I moved all of the vintage stuff over to my main store that is.
But I am stiiiiill torn! At first I had everything separate in two different stores (vintage in one store, handmade in another). But after a short time I felt it was better to condense and put everything in one place. It is working out fine so far, but for some reason I just have this nagging feeling that the two separate hngs ought to have their own separate identities ie: individuals storefronts. For the moment I think I will leave things as is but it is really plucking at my nerve. I just don't know what I should do. Any opinions on this?
